EX-NURTW Boss Olorunwa Bounces Back, Gets Another Juicy Post

Erstwhile National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Lagos State boss, Alhaji Rafiu Akanni Olorunwa is in the news again.

Only recently, we brought you a report that the embattled former NURTW chairman resurfaced in grassroots politics where he is believed to be throwing his weight behind a local government chairmanship aspirant in Apapa-Iganmu LCDA of Lagos State. Olorunwa who himself was a former Local Government Chairmanship aspirant in Mushin Local Government before he became the chairman of NURTW in Lagos State is said to have been given a lifeline by the incumbent NURTW chairman in Lagos State, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede.

Sources within the union revealed to us that Alhaji Agbede, few weeks after he became the NURTW boss extended his hands of magnanimity to Olorunwa by re-admitting him into the fold of the Lagos State NURTW chapter. We learnt from the sources that Olorunwa was given a position in the management team of the union body where he is useful and making use of his experience to move the union forward. Same is also said to be applicable to his followers, they are said to be engaged by Alhaji Agbede.
