Niyi Aderinokun popularly known as Obodo is a known socialite who ruled the
social firmament in the late 80s through
the 90s; he became very popular when
most artistes especially K1 the ultimate dedicated an album to him.

Aside the
popularity he gained from K1 and the
likes, Niyi Obodo got into
prominence again when his second wife Tobi
Thomas was murdered by unknown assailants in front of Eko Hotel while returning from a nite club on the Island. At the
time of her death, cityrovers.blogspot.com gathered that another known
socialite Tayo Alakiu was beside her
in her M=Class Benz when the sons of
the night rained bullets into her fragile body.
Then, there
were various insinuations over the death of the lady who pioneered tattoo and
human hair in Nigeria through her Awolowo
Road Ikoyi Panache Outfit. One of
the conjectures linked the husband to her death. But Obodo was able to wriggle out of it projecting his innocence.
Now, after 12 years without a wife to call his
own, Obodo has now taken in another woman. The wedding that attracted many
other Nigerians in many states of uncle sam’s enclave took place in Houston Texas, a state named after former General Sam Houston, who was president of the Republic of Texas on the 6th of September 2014.
The new
bride we are reliably informed is simply known as Kemi and they’ve been dating for quite some time before they
decided to make it official.
The new wife
is the third; Obodo married and divorced Raliat
before pitching his tent with Tobi who
felled to the assassins’ bullets before settling for beautiful Kemi.
