The municipality of Ibadan was electrified yesterday when
top socialite and businessman Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku staged a political rally
that saw thousands of people joining the outsized train.
The rally which was said to have been put together by his
group Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku Forum (ORAF) a block off the Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku
Foundation saw the train from Ibadan North West and South West meeting at Apata
market of the town.
After congregating at Apata area of the town, the train
moved to various political leaders’ abodes
The governor who not only addressed the excited crowd but
also walked with them, expressed his love for Ajanaku whom he referred to as
the man of the people.
Speculations are already rife that come 2015, Ajanaku will be
contesting for a slot in the National Assembly to represent his people.
