Barely few weeks to the primaries of the All People’s Congress (APC) to choose its flag bearer  for the Lagos governorship election that’ll take place in February next year, there seems to be an unlimited spring of surprises from the party faithful especially those who desire to take over from Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola.
Until now, many had thought that those who have shown interest in the race to the Alausa Ikeja government seat like Sen. Ganiu Slomon, Akinwunmi Ambode, Kadiri Hamsat,  Adeyemi Ikuforiji and Dr. Leke Pitan will be the ones to slug it out eventually at the planned primaries of the party slated for November. Unpredictably, while many are still thinking about where the arrow will point to in the long run, many others have now joined the contest officially. Those who have signified interest to run include Ayo Gbeleyi, Tayo Ayinde, Kayode Opeifa And Olasupo Shasore.

Not only that these individuals have shown interest, they have also collected the form which came as rude shock to some of the party loyalists.
It may interest you that out of all the contestants, it is Senator Ganiu Olanrewaju Solomon that has been working underground to achieve his dream, others simply went to slumber thinking they’ll commence sensitization only if they get the blessing of the Lion of Bourdillon. But, that changed recently when the party agreed on the need to have a primary to determine who gets the ticket in November.
Now that many are thinking of limited participants, some others have joined the race.
