Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel is
gradually wrapping his frame in controversy robe with many unpleasant things
coming out from his church lately.
Just when the
dust of the controversial ‘Gate of Hell’ is yet to settle, another
has just cropped up its head once again. The high flying pastor,
we gathered authoritatively told his congregation to maim and kill.
The Man of God was
quoted to have said this while reacting to a security report
that a plan has been hatched to bomb his Ota based church. In his statement, the pastor says “I learnt they are planning to come and bomb
the church through security report given to me, I tell you, if you see anybody
that looks like them, kill him, shed their blood". Lord,
if It’s your wish to break this
country, break it”,
he concluded.
Many are
wondering why he would preach
violence against fellow human
being instead of preaching peace.
