Irony: Death Of C&S Spiritual Leader Fakeye Becomes Blessing To His Neighbours

Life is indeed full of ironies; there are always two sides to a coin; whatever part you see in a coin becomes your perspective. While some are crying, some are on a roller coaster celebrating. This assertion became rock-solid with the death of the Spiritual Leader of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church ‘Ayo Nio’  Prophet Gabriel Fakeye. As  painful as the death of the well respected clergy man is to his family members, disciples and loved ones, his neighbours at Onilekere, Cement Bus Stop  area of Ikeja Lagos are at present living in euphoria that the death of the Man Of God has turned out to be a blessing in disguise to them

You may be wondering why his neighbours are elated. Cityrovers.blogspot.com exclusively gathered that last Monday the 12th of January, when Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola paid a condolence visit to the house of the departed and saw the deplorable condition of the area, he promptly ordered the tarring  of the street and 10 other adjourning streets in that neighbourhood.
By the next day, the Works Ministry commenced work; and as at today, the street is wearing a new look waiting for the black tar coat  to be added.

Some concerned citizens are however condemning the style of governance in Nigeria where the only way you can feel government presence is to have a name or have someone who is close to powers around your neighbourhood.  If Fakeye did not die and Fashola had not visited, the area will not be experiencing the face lift they reasoned.
