There seems to be no end to the crisis
rocking the PDP National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu over the allegation leveled against him of not working in the interest of President Jonathan’s
reelection bid. cityrovers.blogspot.com have it on good source that one of his antagonists in the party
is Chief Edwin Clark,
Chairman of the Delta State Elders' Forum and a closer advisor to President Jonathan.
According to cityrovers.blogspot.com
source, Edwin Clark who initially opposed the choice of the former governor of
Bauchi state to lead the party is still insisting that the party chair is not
on a loyal lane with the party he chairs. The wish of the elderly Edwin Clark
would have been answered but for the PDP
governors who lined behind Mu’azu gave the position to him
Things however, came to a head early this week
with rumours of Mu’azu’s resignation, which the party’s spokesman later
dispelled. The south south leader accused Mu’azu of not working for Jonathan’s
re-election even before the president’s convoy was recently pelted in Bauchi,
the PDP chairman’s home state.
It was a sigh of relief however, for a visibly
bewildered concerned when the rumour of the purported resignation of the
national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu,
turned out to be a hoax.
