The fact that Delta State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan
did not have his way in selecting his preferable successor at the PDP governorship
primaries in the state still leaves a bad taste in his mouth till date. This we
can authoritatively corroborate.
A very close ally of the governor disclosed to
cityroversblog that the doctor turned politician is miffed that Senator Okowa and some PDP elders
in the state played a fast on him that saw his anointed candidate Obuh being
defeated by Sen. Okowa.
According to the information at our disposal, the
governor has decided to pay PDP back by supporting Great Ogboru of the Labour
party against his party candidate.
We gathered that the governor has been supporting Ogboru
with a lot of cash albeit secretly. Stakeholders in the sate, however say, Ogboru
has little chance in taking over from Uduaghan
