The
Chairman House Committee on Diaspora Hon Abike Dabiri Erewa has urged
residents of Lagos State to go out en-mass and vote for the governorship
candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on
Saturday, as well as all APC’s House of Assembly candidates.
Dabiri-Erewa,
who was the most visible and most active female member during the
electioneering campaign of the president-elect, the General Mohammmadu
Buhari, posits that, the emergence of APC as the ruling party after the
March 28th presidential election, a victory for Mr Ambode, and all APC
House of Assembly candidates on Saturday presents the best opportunity
for Lagos State to align with the APC led Federal Government.
According
to the respected female gladiator, “For the first time in 16 years,
since the advent of our democracy, the ruling party in Lagos state is
set to take control not only at the state level but also at the Federal
level and these portends a lot of good things for Lagos state.”
Reiterating
Governor Fashola’s address to residents of Lagos, Dabiri-Erewa appealed
to all to vote wisely for All Progressive Congress (APC) on Saturday,
and urged that all distractions on ethnicity should be set aside, as APC
remains the best option for Lagos State.
