Hafsat Abiola Costello, Sen GOS, others pay GLOWING tributes amidst tears as Drowned UNILAG Students are Buried

It was indeed tear-jerking episode  yesterday, the 10th of June 2016,  at the Ikoyi Cemetery when the remains of  Adesola Ogunmefun (27) who was nicknamed ‘Obaomo’ and Olufunmilayo Odusina (24), the two University of Lagos, UNILAG post-graduate students who drowned at the Elegushi Beach during their friend’s birthday on June 6, 2016, were finally laid to rest.
The whole atmosphere elicited agony and grief as almost all who came could not hold back their tears. Though as usual, some of the people who came share a belief that the death has spiritual connotation, saying the late brilliant minds were daughters of the river, hence, the unfortunate death, that however did not stop the torrent of tributes from  many more who knew about their born again status before the final curtain was drawn.
Funmi, a friend and sola

Hafsat Abiola Costello, the daughter of the acclaimed winner of the June 1993 presidential elections was part of those who spoke about the dead, especially, Sola Ogunmefun who was a personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Education, Science & Technology, Ogun State. In her words she says ‘Adesola, I had the pleasure of meeting you once and It was enough to know what a lovely bright light you were, rest in peace’
