LAGOS SPEAKER, HON. OBASA MAKES HEADLINE AGAIN!

The Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa might have always been in the news in the recent past for wrong or right reasons, but we can tell you authoritatively that this Honourable Speaker of the 8th Lagos Legislative Assembly has a chunk of positivity around him, a positive aura that can only be found around a good leader. Listening and canvassing opinions on way forward are part of the hallmarks of a good and great leader which will in return have immeasurable impacts on the output of such a leader. News emanating from the hallowed chamber revealed that Hon. Obasa has not only improved on his statutory duties as speaker of the Assembly, he is
also taking some convincing bold steps in order to be a good leader

. He is said to be asking people around him, both lawmakers and those around the legislative house, including professionals to access his performances and activities in office so far and give him their candid opinions. Aside this, Hon. Obasa whose own office edifice is separated from other lawmakers offices paid unexpected visit to his colleagues office building recently checking the surrounding including the visitors toilets. When he discovered the untidy condition in some of the toilets, he sacked Assembly cleaners and promptly employed new cleaners. More so, Hon. Obasa presence has also been felt in the expansion of visitors waiting room in the Speaker's Lodge to conform with the Assembly's exterior architectural masterpiece.
