After the world stood up against the barbaric killings of
fellow Africans by their host in South Africa
The senseless conflict which we are told is between the
Eiye Confraternity and the Vikings has just swallowed a fine gentle man who was
simply known as Olorogun Larry. The late Larry was 47 years old when death came
calling; he was also said to have left three kids and a wife behind . His
unfortunate death has thrown the Nigerian
community in South Africa into confusion and apprehension because no one is
sure what the next action would be between the warring factions.
What is painful about the death of Larry is that he knew
nothing about the fight that claimed his life. According to dependable source
from the Mandela enclave, there was a quarrel between the Vikings and the Eiye
confraternity that led to a free for all fight. After the fight has been
doused, the Vikings regrouped and started looking for members of the rival
group. The late Larry who never knew what had transpired was at a cool spot
enjoying alone when his assailant bumped on him, stabbing him with various
objects including broken bottles and knife. He was left in his pool of his own
blood before they scampered to safety.
Larry was later rushed to the hospital where he was kept
at the intensive care unit because of the degree of his injuries before he gave
up the ghost yesterday morning.
Larry has been in SA for many years before he met his
untimely death yesterday
