TIMI DAKOLO TO MAJEK FASHEK, “Lets Meet In Court”

Following the recent allegation fuelled by the Reggae Icon, Majekodunmi  Fasheke  popularly known as Majek  Fashek that  former west African idol winner, Timi Dakolo  ‘stole’ his all-time hit, “Send Down The Rain” which the soul singer sampled in one of his songs, the episode  is taking another dimension as Timi has made it known that he is fully ready for the rain maker in court.

Timi, who claimed his former management, Now Muzik has previously paid the agreed sum of N500,000 to the “Send down the rain” crooner’s management ,November Records owned by ace film maker/producer, Charles Novia before remaking the song, Dakolo, in his view believes that Majek does not have any logical reason to seek justice at the law court after the proper protocol to avoid copyright infringement has been complied.
Speaking today with CityRovers on the issue, Timi  simply said Majek should stop the paper war and meet him in court.

News previously has it that Timi Dakolo was slammed with N100 million lawsuits by Majek Fashek’s management for copyright infringement.
