HR PEOPLE MAGAZINE AWARDS AND GALA 2017 Hots Up As COMPANIES Jostle TO WIN

The 2017 HR People Magazine Awards is set to hold on the 15th of June 2017 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel Victoria Island. The award brings together various captains of the Human Resource industry from various sector of the economy to recognize outstanding achievement across the entire HR Industry.

Details have it that the Awards and Gala will be represented by over 200 top HR professionals in Nigeria. We gathered that the  HR People Magazine have proven their commitment to the HR industry as the leading HR publication in West Africa and one of the top in Africa with over 18 publications in the last 5 years, promoting good human capital practices.
HR People magazine is dedicated to promoting branding human resources in Nigeria and Africa at large. HR People magazine have a reputation for fostering people development profession in Nigeria, making them the ideal host for this prestigious awards.
The Executive Director of the Awards, Mr. Dapo Saheed said that despite the recession and recovery mood of the country, several organizations and individuals are embracing International HR best practices and promoting good human capital practices and they must be recognized and acknowledged.
According to the Editor of HR People Magazine, this year awards category will include; Most Outstanding Employee Engagement, Best Training, Learning and Development, Best Work Life Harmony, Employer of Choice etc.
Interestingly, several Bluechip and Multinationals are participating in this year's awards to make it a night of glamour. They include Cadbury, Lafarge Africa, Nigeria LNG, Airtel, Nestlé, Unilever, Nigerian Stock Exchange, MainOne, DHL, British American Tobacco Company, StanbicIBTC, Sanofi-Aventis, DHL etc.

According to Mr. Saheed, he stated that the HR People Awards and Gala being the only stand-alone awards night for HR in West Africa will always reserve and uphold its values on presenting awards to well deserving, and achievers in the HR industry, where the best will be recognized based on different award categories with a judging panel to critically asses all entries. The judging panel are selected HR and Business leaders with an impeccable background and experience from across 5 countries of the World. He emphasized that the integrity of the awards is paramount to him.
