Dangote Takes Investment To Europe And America

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, plans to invest $50bn in the United States and Europe by 2025, in renewable energy and petrochemicals.

This is coming after completing almost $5bn of agricultural projects and an $11bn oil refinery in Nigeria.

Gross earnings for the period grew by 2% to  214.1billion₦from  209.9billion reported in the June 2016; driven primarily by growth in investment securities income₦as well as income from risk assets. Profit before tax stood at  101.1billion, representing a growth of 18%₦over  85.69billion recorded in the corresponding period of June 2016₦

Bizarre! Parent cut daughter’s finger for ritual

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a couple, Nasiru Adeyemo and Idayat Adeyemo, for allegedly cutting off the finger of their daughter, Abibat, and abandoning her in a bush. 

It was learnt that the suspects tied up the seven-year-old in a white sack to stop her from escaping before disposing of her in the bush.
