Information reaching Cityrovers has it that former petroleum minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Deiani Alison Madueke was today arrested in London by the UK National Crime Agency.
Report says the controversial ex-minister was arrested alongside four other people.
The report says she was arrested for offences related to bribery and corruption being investigated by the UK National Crime Agency.
The development is a sign that the war against corruption campaign of incumbent president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is now yielding dividend haven challenged world leaders to support his administration's quest to bring Nigeria treasury looters to book.
The last administration was accused of enormous misappropriation of public funds and the ministry of petroleum spearheaded by Deizani masterminded most of the loots.
