Charles Nwogbe recently as the lounge marked exactly 5
year
anniversary on the day that also happened to be his
birthday. The
event was indeed a gathering of who is who in the social
circle as
well wishers jam packed the lounge reputed as the number
one lounge in
Surulere Lagos.
The event also attracted notable personalities including
some top
celebrities and was partnered by Hennessy. The event also
featured
Skales and Ayodel & Groove Control Band and some
other artistes. Mr.
Charles Nwogbe whose wife had earlier in the week put to
bed to a baby
boy had this to say,
“what else can I say? God has really been good
to me and my family, exactly this time last week my
beautiful wife put
to bed to a bouncing baby boy just one week to my
birthday and the 5th
anniversary of this lounge. This week has been a week of
celebration
for me and my family, God has really been good to us. You
can’t
believe it but the truth is that everything you see here
today was not
planned because I wanted a low key event, I was only
informed by my
manager on Friday evening that our partner, Hennessy was
planning a
surprise birthday gift for me, I never knew it would be
this huge.
Just look around, everywhere is fully jam packed, no more space for
people to come in. I’m very much aware that many people
are still out
side but were not allowed to come in because of space but
I really
appreciate everyone for coming out to support me and
celebrate with
me”. Mr. Charles Nwogbe is also the proprietor of X-Arena
Hotel, Lekki
and Xhibits, Surulere.
