The meeting that had Agbede as the chairman had other top
members of the association including the state Excos and the state Elders
committee who were all there to find a lasting resolution to the crisis.
At the meeting, Agbede informed the members that he does
not want a situation whereby there won’t be unity amongst the members and he
implored them to embrace peace at all cost. He specially called on Talo and Mc
Oluomo to embrace each other and forget whatever may have been the grievance
between them, which the two top figures quickly adhered to. He made all that
came to chant ‘No More War In Oshodi’ to sound it clear that peace is the
paramount concern of the association.
The peace meeting took place at the State Council
secretariat of the Union.
