It is very true that the Coca-Cola’s Share a Coke campaign is not limited to Nigeria alone; in fact it has gone worldwide with the brand enticing consumers with the ability to see their own or their friends' names on a can or bottle of Coke. Since launching it in 2011 in Australia, it has been so popular that the campaign is now in more than 50 countries.

The campaign was launched in Nigeria and almost immediately the whole country caught the bug. Even very rich and successful Nigerians still pride when they come across their names or that of their wards on the bottle or can of Coca Cola.
