How Channels TV Boss John Momoh’s Effort Failed To Save Chukwuma Onuekwusi

When the news broke out yesterday that the State House correspondent of Channels Television, Chukwuma Onuekwusi was dead, many had wanted to know the type of illness that claimed the life of the 55yrs old man and the role of the management of the television house that he has worked for for almost two decades.


Findings by cityroversblog reveals that many of the staff of the Lagos based television house contributed a lot to see that his health was restored. The Managing Director of Channels, John Momoh also got really involved that he offered to fly his hardworking staff out of the country for better medical care. We were told that he had even made arrangement of airbus and the hospital to take him to in Europe before the unexpected happened.
Ever since the death of Onuekusi at a private clinic in Abuja after battling internal organ malfunction ailment, the whole of Channels have caught the sadness bug with everyone having one good story to tell about him.
The deceased had reported for Channels since 1998. He covered successive administrations since Olusegun Obasanjo.
 He has covered several beats on Channels Television before he was seconded to cover the Presidential Villa as the State House correspondent.

Mr Onuekwusi was a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
