Vitafoam Nigeria Plc is about the country's leading
manufacturer of flexible, reconstituted and rigid foam products that has been
in existence since 1962. The brand that
has remained a household name in the
country today seems to be going through turbulence at the moment going by the
feelers from the company.
We gathered that thousands of its workers have been told
to go home because of lack of activities.
According to what we gathered, the company called its
workers and informed them that there was no chemical to continue production so they
should go home until they are called back.
But it seems the wait is fast turning to something else
as most that we spoke with are of the opinion that the company might be on its
way out of business.
