As the nation prepares for the Saturday April 11 Governorship and State Assembly Elections across the country, there seem to be more worries for the Independent National Electoral Commission over the credibility of some of its staff. It was learnt that a driver with INEC in Delta
State received the beaten of his life today as he was pummeled to a pulp in Asaba by a mob that alleged
that he was diverting election materials.
The driver had just left the Central Bank of Nigeria premises with an
INEC pick-up van after loading election materials for Ethiope East and
West when the mob stopped him for allegedly diverting from the route
other drivers had taken.
