Anticorruption: Buhari Urges International Community To Stop Aiding Corruption

The fearless nature of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was once again exemplified when he addressed world leaders at the just concluded 2015 United Nations Summit in the United States of America.

Buhari noted that corruption, cross-border financial crimes, cyber crimes and human trafficking were major social vices militating against the collective good of the world in the 21st century, hence urged the international community to unite against the vices, the President reiterated his unwavering determination to fight corruption head-on.

He stressed that the silence of the developed countries whenever stolen monies are brought to their country, is bane of holistic development of developing nations most especially in Africa.

Buhari to probe weapons procured since 2007

The last has not been heard of the anti-corruption fight embarked upon by President Muhammadu Buhari as he today, directed the National Security Adviser to convene an investigative committee on the procurement of hardware and munitions in the Armed Forces from 2007 till now. According to PMB, the investigative committee’s mandate is to identify irregularities and make recommendations for streamlining the procurement process in the Armed Forces.
Accordingly, the National Security Adviser has constituted the Investigative Committee as follows:

Breaking! Oritsejafor Congratulates Buhari...Urges Him To Fulfil Campaign Promises

The National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, and the Archbishop of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, on Tuesday congratulated the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, on his election. 

The CAN president in a statement in Abuja, stressed the need for harmony between Christians and Muslims in the quest for a prosperous Nigeria. Oritsejafor also saluted Nigerians for a peaceful election and prayed for a prosperous future for the country. Oritsejafor also praised President Goodluck Jonathan for exhibiting good sportsmanship in conceding to the president-elect. Also, Onaiyekan said losers should learn to accept defeat and the winners should not use this opportunity to oppress the losers.
