If you think the word 'defection' is synonymous with members of political parties alone, you may be wrong as information in our disposal proves that the word can be used for someone seeking greener pasture. Moreover, at a time when many expect majority of PDP members to seek greener pasture with APC, former Chairman of the National Union of Roads Transport Workers, NURTW Lagos State Chapter, Rafiu Akanni Olohunwa has a contrary opinion.
Sources close to Olohunwa disclosed to your darling citrovers.blogspot.com that the strong man has dumped soon-to-be-ruling party All Progressive Congress, APC for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

He pleaded with Niger Delta youths not to perpetrate violence because of the election of the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. Nigerians to participate in the democratic process. That is one legacy I will
like to see endure. Although some people have expressed
mixed feelings about the results announced by the Independent National
Electoral Commission (INEC), I urge those who may feel aggrieved to follow due
process based on our constitution and our electoral laws, in seeking redress.

He said Goodluck Jonathan lost the presidential election
to Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, because
Jonathan failed to meet the yearnings and aspiration of Nigeria’s
citizens.

'I Am Innocent' - MC Oluomo Exonerates Self From Oshodi Violence
National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW)
boss, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo has condemned the unruly act of thugs at Oshodi this morning. Below is the speech he made shortly after the incident.
His words: Good morning my fellow Lagosians, I find it very imperative and urgent to quickly send this message to update you about the cruel, gangsterism, uncivil and very absurd conduct of the PDP Thugs in Oshodi this morning. We woke up to find this desperate hoodlums shooting, looting and vandalising people's property, led by Essy Oluwo and co. I just sincerely want to bring this to the consciousness of the populace that this hoodlum would do anything to bring both my name and that of our great party APC into mud. I want to state that nobody has monopoly of violence, but my love for my people and that of Oshodi is uppermost in my mind. I have instructed my followers and good people of Oshodi to be calm, since the Nigerian police have come in to calm the situation.

INCREDIBLE: See How PDP Allegedly Shares Dividend Of Democracy Through Envelop
Although, some loyalists of the Peoples Democratic Party have denied in no small measure that no dollar is being shared to woo electorates to vote across board for the party in the forthcoming 2015 General Election, but if we are to believe the fact that there is always an iota of truth in every rumour coupled with the leaked photo below, we cannot agree better that all is not well in the country. Indeed, there is no saint politician or political party, but the desperate moves of the ruling to win the elections by all means is disheartening.

We Left PDP To Save Nigeria - Reps. Speaker Tambuwal Revealed
No doubt, the incessant defection of members of People’s Democratic Party, PDP has now become a possibility on a daily basis in Nigeria. Apparently, the most shocking defector to the opposition party, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has explained why he and his colleagues decided to dump the PDP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC. Tambuwal explained that they would have remained in PDP and become richer but decided to leave the party in order to save Nigeria.
According to the Speaker, since 1999, the PDP had proven to be incapable of governing the country in an effective manner, adding that for Nigerians to regain their dignity and self-worth, they must join hands to vote out the party from power. “Many patriotic Nigerians who felt the need to change the course of our country have protested the inept administrative style visited on this country.
They made their voices known by abandoning the PDP and teaming up with progressive-minded Nigerians. “Remaining in the PDP would have been the easy option for us. We would have been richer and would have been enjoying the benefits of being in the same political camp with the Federal Government. But we chose a different option because we felt enough is enough.
